Why DeckSpec
Structured documents, not a template pack.
- Editable diagrams and slides. Objects stay objects. Nothing is a flattened picture unless you export one.
- Portable source. JSON is the canonical format. YAML is an equivalent import and export. A .deckspec package bundles that JSON with assets.
- SVG, PNG, PDF, and PowerPoint. Exports for sharing. PowerPoint is compatibility, not the source of truth.
- Local files. The editor runs in the browser. You import and export explicitly. No account in the first release.
